Wow we have been busy! We spent a week at Lake Wenatchee camping, swimming, playing, getting eaten by mosquitos, reading, hanging out. No scrapping, though. I am in withdrawal! We had a great time, though. I took lots of pics that I can't wait to scrap! We went into Leavenworth Friday afternoon for the 4th of July but it wasn't quite what we planned. It was ridiculously crowded and lacked the patriotic rush I love on our Independence day. So we left after just a little while and spent a few hours in Pashastin at a really cool Fruit Stand/Mercantile/Petting Zoo/Playground/Maze complete with a cow train. Yep. A cow train. LOL. I could never really describe it so I will get a pick up for you sometime relatively soon. Maybe. I am really bad. (hey, at least I'm honest!)
We got back into Yakima just before 8pm and the girls were still wound up and wanted to watch fireworks (who wouldn't??) so we went down to the Yakima Fairgrounds to the big festival thing they have there every year. My whole family (mom, sister, nephew, aunts, cousins, etc, etc, etc) were all there so it was really fun. The fireworks were great and they had a few shaped like hearts and stars. Very cool.
Saturday we crashed. SO EXHAUSTED! Then the girls went to my mom's for a few days (they were home sick for Grammy) and Jared and I had a date night. He bought me some new clothes in honor of my birthday/my new job. Then we had dinner at Outback Steakhouse (holy $65 dinner batman!) and watched a movie at home. "Fools Gold". Pretty good, funny enough to watch but not enough to buy.
Sunday we went to church and it was a really great message by Marah Jean Traub. It was exactly what I needed to hear. THANK YOU, LORD! It is amazing how He does that, isn't it?? Then we spent the afternoon together since we still didn't have any kids. I worked on my sister's birthday present. Her birthday is this friday. she will be 29. which means we will be the same ago until I turn 30 - gulp - on Monday the 14th. I can't tell you what I am making just in case she sees this (even though she prob won't). I'll put pics (for sure this time) when I get it done.
Today I started a new job at Catholic Family Services. So far it is great. I am really happy with it. I am going to be a "Records & Registration Specialist". I'll keep you posted as I go.
Well, that was a LONG post (in lue of scrappy pics). Enough for now, I say. TTYS!

Hey! Im glad you had a great time! Mine was good as well! My Dad's side of the family (and my dad) got to meet the boyfriend! It went fairly well from what I could tell!
I thought you were going to say something on her about a crop night.
That would be so fun.
Too bad I live so dang far away.
